- Installed the Social Reach Add on, to the EpiServer 7 web site.

- Created a facebook channel

- Created a message and sent to facebook channel

But the message is failed. When I see the message details, it shows the following error

"Failed Shortening urls: The remote name could not be resolved: 'api-ssl.bitly.com'"

What could be the problem? Am i missing something?

https://api-ssl.bitly.com is the external link shortening service from bit.ly. It uses HTTPS (http://dev.bitly.com/authentication.html)

Is port 443 (HTTPS) open in your environment?
