EPiServer CMS 5 R2 API for desktop application

Hello everyone,

 

I'm gonna create a desktop application that will read the data from EPiServer CMS database. Is there any API for this like the one that can be used in the Web application? So we can easily search for a page and getting the data of it?

You can use the webservice api if you would like
