Create Alloy Demo site disabled on installation

Hi everyone,

first time user here. I want to install EPiServer CMS 7.0 with demo site to play around with it, but the checkbox "Create Alloy Demo Site" is disabled. How can i install that demo site?

That would most often mean that we cannot automatically connect to a local SQL Server and unable to do an unattended "automatic" installation, you can install without selecting that option and then use Deployment Center to install the demo site using the "Create site and database"-wizard where you can specify the SQL Server that the installer should connect to.

Thanks! Got it working now. I also needed to repair my ASP.NET framework, as one handler wasn't recognized: http://world.episerver.com/Modules/Forum/Pages/thread.aspx?id=63505

Now everything seems fine.
