About This Release

EPiServer Commerce 1 R2 SP2 for EPiServer CMS 6 R2 contains a number of enhancements and fixes described below.

Enoteca Sample Templates

In this release of EPiServer Commerce, the sample template package has been replaced with the "Enoteca" demo site templates. These templates are provided as inspiration when investigating and learning the best practices for developing an e-commerce website on EPiServer Commerce.

The new templates together with functionality enhancements in this release, provide a number of sophisticated features:

  • Split-shipment order, allowing an order to be sent to multiple delivery addresses
  • Improved product image managment using the Commerce Asset System

Enhancements in ECF/Commerce Manager

Localization of Commerce Manager

All systems in Commerce Manager (ECF commerce framework) are localized and can be changed via resource files.
